Clean room, shared shower, and toilet. Helpful staff. Convenient location near Viru gate. No need to carry suitcase on cobblestones. Returning here on next visit.

Great location in Old Town, Tallinn. Nice and quiet with no disruptions or noise at night ( also has double-glazing). Free wifi. V.helpful staff.

A good place to hang on, to make new friends and to drink beer

An unnoticeable hostel emblem at the street so it takes a lot to find the hostel.

Dorm rooms are small, for 2-3 people.Location is great, right in the old town.

The lift in the building doesn't stop at the hostel's level and I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs - that was heavy. The kitchen is small, only a couple of people can fit in at a time.No proper bathroom, sink or shower.

    Location.

A bit overpriced for the service provided. Bathrooms were not clean. Rooms are noise and completely made for you not to stay there, I mean the curtains are made to let the light come in as another guest! Staff is cool and helpful.

Great value for money. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

More variety in breakfast items would have been nice.

The 4 person room is actually two big appartments combined with each their own bathroom, kitchen and dining table. Good price/quality

Got send to another hostel to get the keys of the appartment and then had to go to another block to the appartment itself. The appartment (and also the hostel) is right in the middle of the nightlife area of Tallinn, so no good if you want to sleep before 4 am

The location is perfect, really in the center of the old town. The guy from the reception (Japanese young man) was very helpful and efficient. I was impressed with his skills in running the place. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is pretty good and you even have pancakes (made by the Japanese guy... The guy does everything... Lol). The wifi works perfectly in the rooms. It is a nice place to meet people from all around the world. Althought the hostel is in the old town, there is a very cheap parking lot near the ferries terminal which is 5 min walk (2€ a day!). I totally recommend it. It is a good value for your money.

The hostel is in the 2nd floor, but the elevator doesnt stop there. You need to go by the stairs or ultimately press the 3rd floor button of the elevator and then walk down one flloor.

Our stay at Viru Backpackers was great! The hostel felt just like home - clean, cozy, and welcoming. The central heating was turned on, so we didn't have to worry about being cold in the old stone building. The check-in process was smooth and the staff ensured a peaceful and quiet atmosphere during the night. The location in the center of town was perfect and the variety of breakfast options was a pleasant surprise. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Viru Backpackers. I highly recommend this hostel.

The breakfast was for free and available in a friendly way. Simple service but effective. Had just what I needed. The room was clean, spacious and nice.

It was a bit difficult to reach the hostel, need a key and so on. Good for the security but hard to find and to reach..

About Viru I should say that now they are called "Boutique hostel" or smth like that. It is extremely nice, cosy, friendly hostel. Hostel looks life a big apartment with a lot of rooms. So you feel like you are at home. Location is brilliant, in the Old Town. And stuff are wonderful! Thank you, guys for travel advises and lot of interesting stories! :)

Good location, nice design, friendly stuff

The elevator doesn't stop on the first or second floor (only on the 5th) and it means that you have to go upstairs with your luggage without any assistance...
